Create an Individualized Career Plan
One of our
senior partners will meet with each displaced employee to learn about his or her background and desires for
future activities. We will help the person determine his or her
job related strengths and weaknesses, career/personal
aspirations and goals, and overall skills and abilities. The
displaced employee will be assisted to create a career plan in
order that achievable professional goals can be established.
Entrepreneurial considerations will be explored as well.
2. Build
a Career Marketing Portfolio
It is
important that proper documents be created and collected that
will substantiate the person’s past achievements. As part of
this, his or her resume should be understandable, complete and
written in a manner that is both readable and marketable.
3.
Interviewing and Job Search Guidance
Most people
undergo employer interviews rarely in their lives. It is
understandable, therefore, that most people’s interviewing
skills can be improved upon. We will ensure that the displaced
employees are prepared for the toughest management
cross-examinations by having them undergo mock interviews with
our senior staff. We will critique the person interview skills
and make suggestions for improvement. We will also ensure that
the person is aware of all of the methods and sources available
to reach potential employers within his or her home country and
their region.
4. Target
and Approach Employers
Our senior
staff are actively involved in the business of recruiting and
placing staff throughout the Asia Pacific region and the world.
They have developed personal relationships with senior level
managers of many of the most active hiring companies in
various countries. On behalf of the displaced employees, we are
prepared to approach hiring managers proactively and make
personal recommendations. If the job-hunter wishes to approach
certain employers on his own, we will provide intelligence
information about the company’s hiring practices and projects.
Lastly, should the candidate be interested in pursuing
opportunities outside of his or her home country
or emigrating to a new country, we will advise on how to proceed
with this option.
